The call bet

The call is always twice your ante. When the dealer qualifies and your hand wins, it pays even money. When the dealer fails to qualify, the call is simply handed back to you and only the ante pays.

The dealer's qualifying rule

The dealer needs a pair or better out of the seven cards available to them. Anything weaker and the hand is settled in your favour on the ante alone, whatever the dealer's cards happen to show. An ace-high straight counts as a straight; the ace can also sit at the bottom of 5–4–3–2–A.

Playing a round

Pick an ante from the chip row — the amount is deducted from your balance the moment you press Deal. A fresh fifty-two card deck is shuffled, two cards come to you, two go face down to the dealer, and the first three community cards land on the ridge in the middle of the table.

Now the only decision of the hand. Calling costs twice your ante and takes you through the turn and the river to a showdown. Folding ends the round immediately and the ante stays with the house. There is no middle option and no second bet later on, which is what makes the flop worth reading carefully.

The showdown

With all five community cards face up, each side makes the strongest possible five-card hand from their two private cards plus the five on the ridge. Standard poker rankings decide it. Should both sides arrive at identical hands, the round is a push and every coin comes straight back.

When the dealer misses

A dealer holding less than one pair does not qualify. In that case your call bet is returned untouched and the ante pays out on the schedule above according to your own hand — so a strong holding still earns its multiplier even when there is nothing across the table to beat.

About the coins

Your balance is a number held in this browser tab and nowhere else. It is not saved to an account, not sent anywhere, and not connected to any payment method. Refreshing the page or pressing Reset balance restores the starting stack. Coins have no monetary value, cannot be purchased, cannot be transferred, and cannot be redeemed for cash, goods or any other benefit.

Keep it in proportion

Summit Call is entertainment, not practice for anything. Card outcomes here are random and a good run is just a good run. If you would like a hand with pacing your play, the responsible play page has some straightforward suggestions.
